On February 20th, at Galaxie on Market street from 8pm-midnight Frederick The Younger will serve as guest DJs at the tuesday weekly Vinyl Night hosted by Louisville Is For Lovers, which will also be giving away a Louisville Is For Lovers album every hour starting at 9pm including a Deluxe Edition boxset of the new 2018 Valentines album. 2/10 The 2018 Louisville Is For Lovers Valentine's Showcase

The 2018 Louisville Is For Lovers Valentine's Showcase will be on Saturday Feb. 10th at LFPL (301 York street) Featuring Adventure, Soft Self Portraits, and Mother Runaway. 6pm-10pm FREE.
 The event is sponsored by the Louisville Free Public Library (LFPL) and the Louisville Underground Music Archive (LUMA). The event will start at 6pm with the Wild And Wooly Film Series with a screening of Breadcrumb Trail: The Story Of Slint

Also, the Winger Brothers and special guests will be performing songs from the new Valentine's album on Friday Feb. 9th live on 91.9FM WFPK's Live Lunch at noon.

Tonight: Louisville Is For Lovers Album Release and Instore Performance at Guestroom

The 2018 edition of the Louisville Is For Lovers Valentine's compilation was released today, Feb. 2nd, at Better Days, Guestroom, and Matt Anthony's Record shops. It includes 22 all new love songs by Louisville bands including Bonnie 'prince' Billy, Adventure, Future Killer, and more. It is also available digitally here.
At 7pm tonight there will be an album release instore performance at Guestroom Records (1806 Frankort ave) with Brenda and Frederick the younger. The event is free and all ages. Supported by WCHQ 100.9FM, Louisville's all local station.

There will also be the 2018 Showcase at the Main Public Library on York street on Saturday Feb. 10th with Soft Self Portraits, Adventure, and Mother Runaway. 7 pm. Free. Event info here.
