New Music from Cheyenne Marie Mize

One of Louisville’s best-kept secrets is getting out. Cheyenne Marie Mize has been taking her talents around the country and the world on the internet. She will be back in town to play the 930 Listening Room on January 21st with Husband & Wife.

Cheyenne recorded a stunning version of Neutral Milk Hotel’s “Oh Comely” for the blog Mixtape Muse. The song was recorded at her home on a cell phone. If you are a fan of Neutral Milk Hotel this version is a must-hear.

Cheyenne also did a session with Daytrotter. If you aren’t registered at Daytrotter is a call for you to do so and browse their impressive catalogue of performances.

If that weren’t enough she also released an exclusive demo recording of PJ Harvey’s "Down by the Water" for Crash Avenue’s December Compilation. Proceeds to this project benefit the Andy Kotowicz Family Foundation.

All this is in support of her album Before Lately which is available here.
