Before the days of My Morning Jacket, Jim James fronted another band called "Month of Sundays". Apparently this band has some old material that was never released, until now. Being released under the name "Mont De Sundua" on May 22nd, the album was produced last year by Kevin Ratterman at the Funeral Home.Listen:
Window is Broken - Did You Bury Yourself Again?
This isn't a new moniker for the since dissolved band, on their first LP "Did You Bury Yourself Again?" the name was printed on the reverse of the sleeve. shown below (with my dog). You can hear a couple of the tracks at their myspace page.
