We reported last week that the radio program State Of Affiars hosted by Julie Credence had been canceled by WFPL. The public radio station announced that although they have canceled the show, they would keep Julie Credence on staff. We have just learned that Julie has left WFPL.
Last week we mourned the loss of State Of Affairs, today we mourn the loss of the talented radio host. As local radio quickly becomes homonogised & syndicated, I hope one day soon there will be a realization in the necessity of local programing. But by then it may be too late.
Someone needs to start a
ReplyDelete"Bring Back State of Affairs" on Facebook. Let's see how many people we can get on board with this. Maybe the idiots at LPM will notice.
