Tomorrow: Cooking Competition at Buy Local Fair

Tomorrow, Sunday May 18th, from 12-6 pm at the Water Tower is the BUY LOCAL FAIR, with over 170 booths of local merchants. There will also be a Cooking Competition between defending champion Joe Benet from RYE on Market and Annie Petry from Decca in a Iron Chef-style cooking competition. The two restaurants will have a live cook-off and present to a panel of judges including Louisville native and Food Network Star  Damaris Phillips formerly of Highland Coffee.

4/9 Bacon Ball @ Water Tower

 Bacon seems to be the cool new thing in Louisville these days.. with fests in Butchertown, restaurants serving all bacon flavored entrees, and ice cream parlors making bacon sundaes.
