2008 Original Highlands Art & Music Festival

For 12 hours on September the 13th, the Highlands will be a rocking a bit more than normal when the Original Highlands Music & Art Festival kicks off it's 2nd annual celebration.
Between Highland and Breckenridge, Baxter ave will be blocked off to allow vendors of art to display their work all while the beers are flowing at the Outlook Inn, O'Sheas, Molly's and many other bars. There will be two stages just like last year, the east and the west (no east coast, west coast rivalries permitted).
Below you'll find the line up and times for the bands involved. Like last year, the festival is free to all and should be a great time!

West Stage:
12-1 Leigh Ann Yost
1-2 Louisville School of Rock
3-4 Ladybirds
5-6 Danny Flanigan and Rain Chorus
8-9:15 Tift Merrit

East Stage:
12-1 John Gage
2-3 Shannon Lawson
4-5 Brigid Kaelin Band
6-7 Peter Searcy
9:30-11 Love Jones

Check out our coverage from last year... (there are recordings of the shows below too!)

To all the performers of this great festival: Louder is not always better and turning up the bass to extreme levels does NOT make your music sound better. It really doesn't.
