Roman Candle, Dangerbird at The 930 Art Center 6/4 FREE

way back in high skool, i daydreamed of moving to chapel hill NC, the capitol city of indie rock in the mid nineties. superchunk ruled the skool, and birthed one of the strongest indie labels to date, the unmatchable MERGE RECORDS.
that gushy pop is still alive and well, and will be attesting to that fact on June 4th when ROMAN CANDLE plays at 930 (not the listening room, but the Art Center, where metal/wood sculptor Daniel Graham will be showing). Dangerbird is also playing.
FAQ:Friday, June 4, 2010 / 8 p.m. / Doors at 7 p.m. / All ages / Limited Seating / Free! / In conjunction with J Daniel Graham’s gallery opening
Daniel Graham will also be showing work on june 11th in New Albany, during the Rock N' Roll Ballet (feat. Whistle Peak and The Deloreans). also free.
