call for artists!

this year i participated in the New Albany Bicentennial Art project, where 4 artists made public sculptures celebrating New Albany's 200th birthday. they are expanding the project for 2 more years, selecting artists to make work that represents New Albany's rich history.
It was fun, and it was great exposure, but we only got $2000 to make the work, which for a public sculpture isn't a lot of dough, but for 2011 they are expanding the stipend to $4,000 each. If you are an artist, or know one that might be interested in this project, they are taking submissions until Jan. 3rd. go to www.napublicart.org for further information.
