7/6: John King's Post Consumer Glass Art Show at CRAFT(s) Gallery


This friday, July 6th, from 6-9pm at Craft(s) Gallery and Mercantile (572 S. 4th st) will be the opening reception for glass artist John King's first showing of new work in 5 years. This collection, the Eyesight Series, explores the artist's thoughts on an inflammatory disease that is slowly claiming his eyesight, all created with post-consumer glass materials. Chipped and cracked glass repurposed into totems and pseudo-religious statues that seems to be begging a Vision God have mercy.

Art Auction for ACLU by Thaniel Ion Lee

Local artist Thaniel Ion Lee is auctioning off a print of his 36" x 36" drawing 'Black Mass' on Ebay in which 75% of the sale will be donated to the ACLU. The auction is up now and bidding starts at $1,000 and ends on April 13th.
