Chicago's resident growling junkyard dog band Mutts and Louisville's dirty satin sheets of a man band Satellite Twin have teamed up for a truly top-shelf smokey motel room soundtrack in the form of a split 7" released this Saturday on Gubbey Records, and a release show at Kaiju with Sheri Streeter.

Tonight: Satellite Twin Vinyl Release show

Louisville rockers Satellite Twin will be playing a Vinyl Release show at The New Vintage tonight (September 30th), with The Crosses and Black God. Satellite Twin released the vinyl EP Mechanical Hearts today and it will be available at the show.

8/22 Seven Sense Fest FREE

On Saturday August 22, on the block between New Vintage and Zanzabar (and also including inside these bars) on Preston street will be a multistage FREE music event to benefit the Boys and Girls Haven. The event will host over 40 regional bands including Scott Carney, Jonathan Glen Wood Ensemble (of Old Baby),  Alex Wright & Maven Down, Quiet Hollers, The Hot Wires, The Bottom Sop, Adventure, Brother Wolves, Black Birds of Paradise, Tall Squares, and Satellite Twin.

4/11 Blind Tigers cassette release show @ Modern Cult

Louisville band Blind Tigers are releasing a 6 song cassette EP, Mosquito, on April 11th  on the Gubbey Records label.



A release show will be at Modern Cult Records on April 11th at 8pm, also performing will be Opposable Thumbs and Satellite Twin.
